Our story

Where we come from.

Equilinq started as a sourcing and verification company: checking Chinese suppliers for European businesses, running exports, and learning factory by factory how manufacturing in Guangdong actually works. That work built our network, our verification methodology, and our conviction that trust in this industry has to be earned with receipts.

That network is extensive. It spans the whole of the Greater Bay Area, the cluster that runs through Shenzhen, Guangdong, and Longgang, where an entire hardware product can be prototyped, iterated, and produced inside one connected valley. PCB fabricators next to machine shops next to mold makers next to battery and display specialists next to final assembly lines. Every supplier verified in person. Every step a short drive, not a shipment.

Then our client projects taught us something. The founders who came to us for sourcing did not really have sourcing problems. They had designs that had never been checked against manufacturing reality, and the cost of that gap was brutal: samples at five times the expected price, quotes that made no sense, timelines that slipped for reasons nobody explained. The value we kept delivering was engineering judgment, applied early. So we made it the front door.

Today Equilinq is the audit first bridge between hardware founders in Europe and the US and the Shenzhen ecosystem. Design house engineering for complex products through our partnership, our own factory network for simpler ones, and one accountable counterparty holding it all together.
